With “Ghosts Again” Depeche Mode have whetted the appetite for their new album, which they’ve also been on tour with for a few days. During numerous television appearances he was used.

Now there is a “new” version of the song that was recorded at Vinegar Hill Studios in New York. Dave Gahan and Martin Gore created the version together with producers James Ford and Marta Salogni, as reported by depechemode.de.

Marta Salogni declared herself satisfied with the new sound of “Ghosts Again” on Twitter and also explained how the piece was recorded: “We used a lot of tape machines for this. We split the input signals and processed all instruments and vocals live, everything else came from the 8-track tape in the background.”

Since Depeche Mode speak of “Vinegar Hill Sessions§”, further material can also be expected.
