Season two follows Lord Anthony Bridgerton (played by Jonathan Bailey), the eldest brother of the family, as he searches for his future wife. His impossible demands threaten to make his search unsuccessful, when Kate (Simone Ashley) and her younger sister Edwina (Charithra Chandran) Sharma arrive from India. When Anthony begins courting Edwina, Kate discovers the true nature of his intentions. A real love match doesn’t seem to be high on his list of priorities, and she decides to do everything in her power to stop the union. But their heated discussions only bring them closer together, which doesn’t make things any easier.
So this time we see different main characters come to the fore than in the popular first season. Actress Phoebe Dynevor, whose story was told at the beginning of the series, will still be in the program. Her opponent Regé-Jean Page unfortunately no longer.
The second season of ‘Bridgerton’ will be available on Netflix from March 25.
