New traffic rules from 2026 – from higher fines in the Netherlands to stricter Brussels LEZ: “This affects 30,000 cars”

With the new year approaching, governments at home and abroad are preparing to tighten traffic rules and associated fines. From a stricter low-emission zone in our capital to higher fines in the Netherlands and more expensive toll roads in France: a forewarned citizen is worth two.
