Tenbagger is a term coined by Peter Lynch, the legendary fund manager of the Magellan Fund. One speaks of a Tenbagger share, if the share price has increased more than tenfold. Peter Lynch managed to “dig up” many such Tenbagger stocks during his career. As a result, from 1977 to 1990 he achieved an average return of 29.2 percent per year with his widely diversified fund.
