According to a recent report by a security company, cyber attacks on organizations are increasingly aiming directly into sabotage. 86 % of serious cyber attacks are effectively sabotaged by the target organization, says Palo Alto Networks’ security unit Unit in his 42 annual threat report. Unit 42 investigated more than 500 serious cyber attacks in 38 countries, and found that they typically resulted in outages, reputation and financial losses.
