She leaves RTL
The journalist Franca Lehfeldt becomes moderator and chief reporter politics at the news channel Welt.
The 32-year-old is leaving her position as chief reporter for Politik Magazine in RTL’s capital city studio. Lehfeldt announced on Friday in Berlin that she was motivated by the opportunity to also lead through the programs as a moderator.
The change is expected to take place in the second quarter. Lehfeldt began her journalistic career in 2017 at the RTL School of Journalism and became chief reporter in April 2021.
She is engaged to Federal Finance Minister Christian Lindner (FDP).
