New Star Trek season starts on March 4th – with Whoopi Goldberg

The new season of “Star Trek: Picard” starts on March 4th and has some surprises in store for fans.

The trailer already reveals: Whoopi Goldberg returns as the mysterious bartender Guinan and John de Lancie is back as the inscrutable and godlike Q.

This time, Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) deals with a fractured reality and a divergence in time. The series can be seen on the Amazon streaming service Prime Video.

Sir Patrick Stewart returned to his role as Jean-Luc Picard with Star Trek: Picard in 2020, which he had embodied for seven seasons in Star Trek: The Next Generation.

In addition to Stewart, the cast includes Alison Pill, Isa Briones, Jeri Ryan and Brent Spiner. A third season is currently being filmed.
