Annie MG Schmidt, often together with her musical companion Harry Bannink, has added many unforgettable musical gems to the Dutch cultural treasury. Thirty years ago, the Annie MG Schmidt Prize for the best theater song was therefore established and that has already resulted in many great winners. To celebrate this, various lyricists and composers have now created completely new work in her mind.
