New Sales Director for Southern Europe comes from Adidas

Massimo Carnelli is the new Director Sales South Europe and New Markets at Jack Wolfskin.

Carnelli from Monza, Italy, is responsible for the “development of the regional structures” of the German outdoor specialist, Jack Wolfskin announced on Monday. In addition to the Italian market, he is also responsible for Spain and France as well as new markets such as the Middle East. He reports to Natascha el Mahmoud, General Manager Commercial Europe at Jack Wolfskin.

“Southern Europe is an important market in Jack Wolfskin’s global growth strategy,” said Richard Collier, CEO of Jack Wolfskin. “Max is an exceptionally empowered leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and a proven track record.”

Before joining Jack Wolfskin, Carnelli held various senior sales, product and marketing positions. Most recently, he worked for the Herzogenaurach-based sports goods company Adidas in Italy as Senior Director Reebok Brand and E-com.

Over the past year, southern Europe has come into focus as part of the company’s global expansion strategy. According to the announcement, Jack Wolfskin also wants to continue growing in Europe in addition to its “large growth markets USA and China”. In addition to Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Great Britain and Poland are also important markets.
