Mike Thibault will start his adventure at the Belgian Cats next week, with the important European Championship qualification matches against Azerbaijan (6 February) and in Lithuania (February 9). If the Cats win twice, they are sure of a new participation in the European Championship, which takes place from 18 to 29 June in the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Greece.
The new national coach signed a contract up to and including the 2028 Olympic Games. This year the Cats stranded just next to the stage in Paris.
