After seven years, FC Volendam will receive a new main sponsor. Construction company HSB is making way for BetCity, which will be on the shirt for at least three seasons.
The Dutch provider of sports betting, among other things, has been collaborating with the football club since this season. According to FC Volendam’s commercial manager Mike Tol, the gambling company matches the club’s ambitions. “The ambition is to grow into a stable Eredivisionist with a recognizable team and attacking football. It has not been announced how much the new main sponsor will contribute from next season. It is true that FC Volendam is making significant progress financially.
