‘Pré de chez nous’, the new label for sustainable Belgian beef, was presented on Monday in the Walloon Fernelmont, near Namur. The new sustainability label was created through a broad collaboration between various players in the meat industry, namely master wholesaler Bernard Gotta, meat slicer Viande de Liège, cattle trader Sobemax and animal feed producer Dumoulin.
