The new Hertha President Kay Bernstein wants to talk to investor Lars Windhorst.

“We will now sit down together and discuss the short and medium-term path. Where can we involve him, inform him? Is there a monthly meeting? It will be about how we treat each other sensibly,” Bernstein told BILD on Sunday.

The ex-ultra and entrepreneur was elected Hertha President last Sunday.

Windhorst has so far invested 374 million euros in the club and has promised millions more if it restarts.

Bernstein wouldn’t resist: “If it helps Hertha BSC with our goals, yes. First we have to lay a solid foundation so that the money will fall on fertile soil. We will not take any money for short-term sporting goals at the moment.”
