While the mood at the Düsseldorf Order Days for women’s and men’s fashion was positive, the children’s fashion fair Supreme Kids, which was taking place in Munich at the same time, also seemed to be convincing. New exhibitors and a new event concept attracted attention.
From January 27th to 29th the order event of The Supreme Group took place in the ‘MTC World of Fashion’. Munichfashion.Company GmbH, the company behind the trade fair organizer, announced on Wednesday that the order mood was good over the three days. The frequency at the stands was also positive.
“For us, the first day was the strongest, but we are completely satisfied,” said Lars Beckmann and Manuel Krapp, sales and sales representatives of the kidswear and bags supplier Lässig GmbH. “We had 50 percent appointments and 50 percent walk-in customers. We are already looking forward to the next time.”
Over 20 new exhibitors
Among the exhibitors were more than 20 newcomers, such as Mamalila, a label for (baby) carrier jackets, the Polish outdoor brand Pilguni and the more sustainable brand Copenhagen Colors from Denmark.
“We met customers here that we would not have reached otherwise […]said Vicki Marx, managing director of the Bavarian Mamalila GmbH.
CWF Group: Party time and mommy bloggers
The French kidswear manufacturer CWF-Group was also represented at the fair for the first time with the collections of the brands Boss, Billieblush, Carrement Beau as well as Hugo and Timberland. Together with the trade fair organizer, the group was also responsible for a new event area in Hall 5.
There was a lot for children and adults to discover there, who could enjoy a drink next to each other at the lemonade or champagne bar. There were also ‘meet & greets’ with so-called ‘mommy bloggers’ and a candy-glittering party with children’s fashion stylist Eugen Chakhnovitch. The new concept has been well received by exhibitors and buyers, so that interest in cooperation for the summer edition has already been signaled, according to the announcement.
“By working with CWF, we have managed to transfer the enthusiasm to the MTC area,” said Aline Müller-Schade, Managing Director of the Supreme Group. “We have succeeded in further charging and developing the Supreme Kids emotionally.”
