VOLLEYBALL – The men of Olhaco also lost the Top Division match against mid-engine Madjoe. In Enkhuizen, the Hoogeveners lost 3-1.
Olhaco had a good start in Enkhuizen, winning the first set in 21-25. After that, however, things went completely wrong for Menno Volkerink’s team. The second set was lost 25-16.
The third set was more balanced, but again the Hoogeveners had to bow their heads in 25-22. In the last set the resistance was broken and Olhaco was outplayed in 25-15.
Next week, Volkerink’s team will be allowed in the rematch when the number nine from the Top Division A, Huizen HS 1, comes to visit.
