New De Wolden municipal council has eight women, merger party continues as PRO De Wolden

Two weeks after the elections for a new municipal council, the changing of the guard took place. After saying goodbye to the old council on Monday evening, a festive swearing-in of the new club of nineteen followed on Wednesday evening. In addition to fourteen familiar faces, there are five new council members. To the delight of Mayor Inge Nieuwenhuizen, there are now no fewer than eight ladies on the council.
