The Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe cycling team draws three young talents into the best group of riders around Tour de France third Florian Lipowitz.
Adrien Boichis (France), Luke Tuckwell (Australia) and Callum Thornley (Great Britain) are moving from the U23 squad to the Raublinger Equipe A team.
The Briton Thornley attracted attention with his victory at the Il Lombardia U23, while the Australian Tuckwell took second place at the Giro Next Gen in Italy. “The fact that three drivers are moving to the World Team after just one year is a strong signal,” said Tim Meeusen, head of the racing team’s U23 development team, about the promoted rookies.
In the coming season, the three talents will start side by side with the top German rider Lipowitz and the new star signing Remco Evenepoel, double Olympic champion in Paris and reigning time trial world champion. At the same time, the Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe U23 team will be expanded with seven new cycling talents.
