New CEO, head of purchasing and menswear designer

The Danish streetwear label Wood Wood appoints three new top positions at once. Kyrk Macmillan takes over the management, Lee Goldup becomes Head of Buying and Dominic Huckbody takes over the menswear department as a designer. Macmillan and Goldup will take up their positions effective April 1, Wood Wood announced on Wednesday. Huckbody has been active as a menswear designer since March 1st.

The new managing director comes from within the company

Before that, he was Head of Commercial at bag retailer Day Et, Commercial Manager at Danish brand Norse Projects and International Sales Manager at Vald, a technology provider in the sports and health sector.

“We are confident that with Kyrk at the helm of our amazing Wood Wood organization and management team, we will be able to achieve the ambitious goals we set out in our Strategy 2025,” said CEO Peter Fabrin that we remain focused on making Wood Wood a fantastic place to work for all employees with an open and inclusive culture, as well as continuing significant growth and improving our profitability.”

Goldup comes from Browns – Huckbody from Burberry

Goldup, who began his career as a fashion photographer, spent the last six years at British fashion retailer Browns as head buyer for casual, contemporary & designer menswear. He will be Head of Purchasing for Wood Wood from London. In doing so, he should “further expand the international ambitions of the brand,” according to the statement.
