Belgian brand Xandres appoints Willem Wijnen to the role of Chief Executive Officer.
Wijnen took on his new role at the beginning of the year, the brand, which is part of the French conglomerate Damartex, announced on Thursday. He comes from Belgian lingerie company Van De Velde NV, where he led the sales organization, retail and digital operations in Europe and North America. Previously, he was responsible for commercial and digital development in Europe at Italian outerwear and sailing brand North Sails Apparel.
At Xandres, Wijnen succeeds interim CEO Pieter Van Dyck, who has been in charge for the past six months.
