Vivian Wang was appointed CEO of the Denimmesse Kingpins Show. This decision follows shortly after founder Andrew Olah announced his withdrawal from the operational business. However, Olah is preserved as a consultant for the company, as can be seen from the official press release.

Wang has been closely connected to the company since Kingpins was founded and has worked as Managing Director and Head of Sales for many years. Since its creation, Kingpins has developed into a six -year trade fair in New York and Amsterdam and is taking a stop in China once a year.

“From the beginning, my goal was that Kingpins is more than just a fair. I wanted to create a global platform on which the Denim community comes together, exchanges ideas, mastered challenges and celebrates the artistry and innovative strength behind every jeans, ”explains Olah in his statement. “When I see how far we have come – and at the same time knows that the future of Kingpins lies in the competent hands of Vivian – it fulfills me with great trust.”

The organizers also confirmed that the Kingpins Show is now completely owned by Messe Frankfurt Inc. Previously, a strategic partnership had already been received with the German company. Last year, Messe Frankfurt Inc. finally took over all shares in the Kingpins Show.
