Etro has filled the position of General Manager for the Americas.
Dan Rothmann has been appointed chief executive officer Americas and Global Travel Retail, the Italian luxury fashion house announced on Tuesday. He will take up the post on February 22nd.
In his new role, Rothmann will oversee and drive all activities in North and South America as well as the development of the global travel business. He will also work closely with Etro’s headquarters and contribute to the global strengthening of the brand, according to the announcement.
Just like Etro Managing Director Fabrizio Cardinali, Rothmann comes from the Italian fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana. There he held the position of CEO North America for five years. Previously, he was Brand President Americas at French luxury brand Chloé.
“As an accomplished executive with many years of experience in national and international management, Dan brings his extensive expertise to our company at a crucial time,” said Cardinali. “I have had the pleasure of working with him in the past and I am delighted to welcome him to our team as a key individual who will certainly help reinforce our vision in such a strategic market for the future growth of the brand .”
