New cases of swine fever in the Spree-Neisse district

According to the authorities, new swine fever cases have been discovered in the south of the Spree-Neisse district. After the situation had calmed down during the winter months, infected wild boar carcasses were discovered again as part of the search for wild animals, the district announced on Tuesday. The virus was detected in a total of nine dead animals and the results were confirmed by the Friedrich Löffler Institute.
