In concrete terms, they will redesign the road between the center and Hoog Kortrijk. From 2027, they will tackle the area from the tunnel at Doorniksepoort to the intersection with Universiteitslaan. From 2030 onwards, they will tackle the loop around the college and university campuses and the area around the hospital.
They will also replace the bridge over the E17 in the Doorniksesteenweg, from 2026. And De Lijn will have an extra depot. Environmental works are underway around the station and the end of the works in Minister Tacklaan is planned for 2029.
