Never picked up again: Zoetermeer animal house is looking for an active owner for Luke

Dog Luke arrived as a wanderer at Dierentehuis Zoetermeer. Perhaps his previous owner no longer wanted to take care of him, or there is another reason that Luke has never been picked up again. In any case, this young dog is ready for a new adventure with an active boss.

According to the shelter, Luke is a beautiful mix of Husky, Berner Mensen and Labrador. This strong male dog is 2 years old, weighs around 40 kilos and was brought to the shelter as a stray dog. “To our surprise, nobody has picked him up anymore.”

Big body, big heart

Luke is a cheerful bouncing ball with a big heart. He is sweet, enthusiastic and fond of hugging, but also needs clarity and good guidance because of his size and uncertain character. He can be quite busy and he does not yet know how to deal with other dogs – that can lead to uncertain behavior and barking. Luke hates cats.

Because of its bowl of energy, the animal house is looking for a sporty boss with muscle balls. Someone who likes to be active with him, such as walking, running and training.
