Network rates will be even more expensive next year than previously thought: electricity bills will be 120 euros more expensive on average, gas bills will also rise

The Flemish energy regulator VREG has approved the new distribution network rates for the Flemish electricity and natural gas invoice. For an average family, electricity grid rates will increase by 120 euros, an increase of +33%. For natural gas, the bill increases by an average of 15 euros (+ 6%). This means that the expected increase is even higher than anticipated earlier this year.
