The film is a reinterpretation of Shythe Sunday Times-bestseller from author Max Porter. The story is about headmaster Steve (Cillian Murphy), who is fighting for the continued existence of his reform school. In the meantime, he is fighting his own mental health.

Problem student Shy (Jay Lycurgo) becomes entangled between the shadows of his past. While wrong friendships and unprocessed events continue to chase him, he must make a choice that will determine his identity and his further life.
