Netflix based on true events Perfect– the film has been ditched, reports Deadline. Olympic gymnast Kerri from Strug production of the narrative sports drama was supposed to start this coming summer.
According to Deadline, the film’s cancellation is due to lead star Millie Bobby Brown leaving the production. According to Deadline’s sources, Brown left the film due to “creative differences” between him and the producers.
Among other things, Netflix Stranger Things from the series and Enola Holmes Millie Bobby Brown, known from the films, was supposed to play the main role of Strug. Neither Netflix nor Brown’s representatives have commented publicly on the matter.

It was already windy inside the film’s production. Originally attached as a director Gia Coppola started walking earlier this year. He was replaced Cate Shortland. Ronnie Sandahl was supposed to script the movie.
Born in 1977, Kerri Strug is an American Olympic champion in balance beam gymnastics. He secured the gold medal for his team at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996 after jumping with an injured ankle.
