The operating company Messe Frankfurt GmbH announced further details on the summer edition of its eco fashion fair Neonyt on Tuesday. A venue has now been found: The Neonyt will therefore use the Union Hall in the Ostend district of Frankfurt. The trade fair is to celebrate its stationary premiere in the Main metropolis from June 24th to 26th. The last Neonyt face-to-face event took place in Berlin in January 2020, the debut in Frankfurt had to be postponed several times due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
At the same time, the organizers announced a cooperation with the Munich trade fair company Greenstyle. As part of the collaboration, the store concept “Greenstyle the store” is to complement the Neonyt Lab area, which is accessible to end customers. There, visitors could “be inspired by sustainable collections and buy them directly” during the trade fair, the organizers explained. The Fashionsustain conference, which is dedicated to sustainability issues from the textile industry, also takes place as part of the Neonyt Lab.
“We are incredibly looking forward to the summer edition of Neonyt here in Frankfurt. We have developed a completely new concept for this that is in tune with the times – and for the first time also includes the end consumer,” explained Bettina Bär, who is responsible for the event at Messe Frankfurt as Show Director Neonyt.
