Neo.Fashion. Award Show – A highlight of Neo.Fashion. 2023

After two days of exciting shows, emotional rollercoasters and creative insights, Neo.Fashion ended. 2023 with the absolute highlight of the format, with the Neo.Fashion.Award.Show. The best of the best, 12 graduates from a total of 12 renowned technical colleges, art schools and universities from all over Germany, proudly presented their impressive graduation collections in the Best Graduates Show, which delighted the audience with their creativity and innovative strength.

Numerous guests from politics, industry and the media gathered at the impressive location of the Alte Münze in the heart of Berlin to celebrate the best up-and-coming newcomers in the fashion world. Among the guests we welcomed State Secretary Michael Biel, AZ Factory Strategic Advisor Mauro Grimaldi and a delegation of international guests from the Fashion Council (FCG). Including Albert Ayal known as @upnextdesigner, or on Instagram.

Under the direction of the patron of the Berlin Fashion Week, the Fashion Council Germany, a top-class jury consisting of experts from the fashion industry evaluated the works in the categories Best Design, Best Sustainability Concept and Best Craftsmanship.

The jury for the Neo.Fashion. Award 2023 consisted of:

  • Lena Simone Ertel – Division Manager Private Label | Fashion & Sports GmbH OTTO GmbH
  • Florian Müller – MÜLLER PR & CONSULTING
  • Anne Wolthaus – Innovation Lead at H&Mbeyond
  • Grit Thoennissen – Fashion and Style Editor – Tagesspiegel

For this purpose, the budding fashion designers presented their collections and concepts to the jury in advance in an elevator pitch, explained them and answered questions and answers.

The winners of the Neo.Fashion. Awards 2023 announced. The awards in the categories Best Design presented by Kerstin Weng, Best Sustainability Concept presented by Sevil Uguz, Best Craftsmanship presented by Grit Thoenissen went to outstanding talents who impress the fashion world with their visionary and groundbreaking work.
