The Pro-European candidate Rafal Trzaskowski has narrowly won the first round of the Polish elections according to the ExitPoll. The liberal achieved 30.8 percent of the votes for the presidency. From the stage he dampened expectations on Sunday evening: “We still have a lot of work for us.” Next month Trzaskowski will face his conservative rival Karol Nawocki in the second round, who finished second.
