For both incidents, an explosive was thrown on the balcony of a house on the second floor from the footpath behind the flat. The first explosion was on Tuesday evening around 10.15 pm, the second followed around 2.10 a.m. in the night from Wednesday to Thursday. The damage to the balcony is considerable, and several windows also died. Nobody was injured.
But the shock is among the local residents. A woman who lives in the porch where the explosions were, says that after the two hard bangs she was shocked enormously. She also immediately called the emergency services.
“I was no longer able to sleep last night after that bang. At first I thought a fire had broken out,” says the neighbor. “Actually, I don’t dare to go to sleep at all anymore.”

She has no idea why the attacks were committed and does not really know the occupant of the affected home either. To take away the unrest in the neighborhood, the municipality organized a meeting in front of the apartment complex on Thursday afternoon. Local residents could go there with their questions. In addition, people from landlord Ymere, Welfare Organization Buurts, Enforcers and the local police officer were present. And not unimportant: a cart with free coffee.
