“You don’t feel completely safe. I always do my shopping around the corner, imagine being chased, as happened to her,” responds a local resident to the message.

The story goes that the woman was shopping on Thursday and was chased by two men as she walked home. The men pretended to be a bank employee and managed to convince the woman to hand over her bank card and PIN code.

However, the woman soon realized that it was ‘wrong thing’ and blocked her pass. No money was stolen but the police indicate that the woman is ‘completely upset’.

“The world has gone mad.”

The neighborhood is also not at ease after the incident. Mostly elderly people live in the courtyard. “Don’t get any crazier,” a man muttered as he passed. “The world has gone mad.”

“You know, you don’t feel completely safe anymore. People know each other here, but then again, they don’t know that well. Maybe that’s why they thought they could strike,” says a woman.

“The shutters now really go down at five o’clock for me.”

Meanwhile, the police are still investigating who the perpetrators may be. However, this does not give the local residents a very reassuring feeling. “No, the shutters really go down at five o’clock for me. I don’t like it all,” says a woman who also lives at the courtyard.
