Linda de Mol is really done with the year 2022. She believes that we have ended up in a negative time with people who are hard and think very black and white. “Let’s rather be for each other.”
Linda de Mol, struggling with low viewing figures, has a reporter from . during some event for her charity this afternoon Show news spoken to. The fallen TV queen tells the camera that she finds 2022 such a very negative year, in which people are extremely hardened. She would like to counterbalance that.
Linda’s boxes
Linda hopes to be a bright spot for people with her charity. “This is the best day of the year for the LINDA.foundation, because this is the big packing day in which all those beautiful boxes with more than 650 euros worth of gift vouchers are packed and then sent to families in the Netherlands.”
Families with children who are having a hard time financially, explains Linda. “And really live in poverty. We now know that every box causes so much happiness.”
‘2022 very negative’
It’s nice to be involved with something so positive, says Linda. “I think that’s really nice, because somehow I think it’s a very negative year – maybe also personally – in which people are very hard and very black and white.”
She continues: “I think in these difficult months and in times of crisis – because that’s just what we’re dealing with, there’s a huge inflation, people are having a really hard time – that a little bit of kindness and a little bit of solidarity a nice message.”

After a year of wallowing in self-pity, Linda now enjoys dealing with other people’s problems once again. “I am greatly improved by this and it puts your own problems into perspective enormously,” she says.
“Because money doesn’t make you happy – I know that by now – but if you don’t have any money at all, it also makes you very unhappy and causes a lot of stress, worry and misery that is especially bad for children.”
