Nearly 800 pigs and piglets died in fire in…

The fire brigade quickly brought the fire under control, so the damage to the outside is not so visible. At least 770 pigs and piglets died in one of the two stables. But there will also have been victims in the other stable. A veterinarian checks the condition of the animals. It was briefly feared that asbestos particles had been released during the fire, but that ultimately turned out not to be the case.

The cause of the fire is not yet known. The public prosecutor’s office sends a fire expert to the scene.
