Brussels published a list of Russianswho fell under personal sanctions of the European Union in connection with the recognition by Russia of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, the TV channel reports “Russia 24”.
The document contains almost 400 representatives of the political, military and economic leadership of our country, journalists and public figures. In particular, the list includes Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, head of the presidential administration Anton Vaino, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria ZakharovaVice Speaker of the State Duma Pyotr Tolstoy, leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov, editor-in-chief of the international news agency Rossiya Segodnya and RT TV channel Margarita Simonyan, our colleague, TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov, and chairman of VEB.RF Igor Shuvalov.
Under the restrictions of Brussels also fell vice-premiers and ministers of the Russian government, representatives of the command of the Russian Armed Forces.
They are all banned from entering the European Union. and access to its banking system.
Because of the situation around Ukraine Europe imposed sanctions and in respect of the Internet Research Agency, as well as Rossiya Bank and Promsvyazbank.
In addition, the European Union banned its business from any contacts with the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics – trade, investment and technical assistance.
