Nearly 26,000 volunteers clean up 1,100 tons of litter: “Remains a major problem in Flanders”

Last year, 25,968 volunteers cleaned up no less than 1,100 tons of litter. That accounts for a fifth of the litter collected by cities and municipalities. The Mooimakers from Pelt went out on Saturday together with Environment Minister Jo Brouns (CD&V) to make the streets waste-free.
