Nearly 20 violations of the use of reserved parking spaces in Bruges
It often happens that people wrongly park in places reserved for people with disabilities. In the past seven years, almost 350 of these parking tickets have been revoked during checks after their illegal use.
During the action yesterday, nine cars had no parking card for people with disabilities, six had placed an invalid or expired card. The card of three was not clearly visible and one person had placed a copy.
Anyone who abuses such a card, or who parks there without a card, pays a fine of 116 euros.
