Nea Kivelä won the World Championship bronze in racing aerobics

Nea Kivelä won bronze in the World Aerobics Championships.

Nea Kivelä made Finnish history by reaching the bronze medal in the World Championships in Racing Aerobics in Guimaraes, Portugal. The woman representing the Turku Sports Federation is the first Finnish World Championship medalist in the sport.

Kivelä went to the finals from 5th place and scored a total of 20,050 points.

– This medal is something I haven’t even been able to dream about. Here goes a moment before I even realize what just happened. I went to the finals without pressure to enjoy, and today I really enjoyed the stage and the result was better than I could ever expect! Feeling unspeakably happy, Kivelä was delighted, according to a report from the Gymnastics Association.

The world championship went to Ukraine To Anastasia Kurashvili. Turkey was awarded the silver Ayse Onbasi.
