NBA: Giannis Antetokounmpo breaks European record

NBA top star Giannis Antetokounmpo almost single-handedly led his Milwaukee Bucks to victory with a personal points record. The 29-year-old Greek scored 64 points in the 140:126 win against the Indiana Pacers, 26 of them in the last quarter alone.

Antetokounmpo also set a new European record. He pushed Luka Doncic (60) from the Dallas Mavericks from the top spot among the Europeans with the highest points in a game. With an additional 14 rebounds, the “Greek Freak” also finished the game with a double-double.

Meanwhile, without superstar LeBron James, who was out sick, the Los Angeles Lakers won the duel against the San Antonio Spurs with exceptional talent Victor Wembanyama.

The Lakers won 122:119, extending the Spurs’ negative record to 18 consecutive losses. “Wemby” still showed a strong offensive performance with 30 points and 13 rebounds.
