On Halloween night the doors of the third edition of the NBA Cup open. In the eight games played, between surprises and twists, the certainty continues to be Luka Doncic: third 40-point game in as many games played (he is the first in history to do so after Chamberlain), and the Lakers victorious in Memphis. The Clippers celebrate, beating New Orleans thanks to Leonard’s basket at the siren, while Jokic misses his fifth consecutive triple double (it would have been an all-time record for the start of the season) with Denver mocked in Portland. In the East, Chicago continues to fly, also beating the Knicks, while Boston redeems itself against Philadelphia.
