Teams that are active at Christmas should remain flexible
The NBA informed the ten teams that are supposed to play on December 25th that there could be postponements until the day before if a game had to be canceled due to Corona. The three most important time windows are therefore the matches at 8.30 p.m. and 11 p.m. German time on Saturday and the game at 2 a.m. on Sunday night, German time. So far they are in sequence Boston Celtics against the Milwaukee Bucks, the Golden State Warriors against the Phoenix Suns and the Brooklyn Nets against the Los Angeles Lakers intended for it.
Like the NHL and the National Football League (NFL), the NBA is currently affected by numerous positive corona tests. As of Tuesday afternoon in the US, 82 players from 20 teams were in the league’s health and safety protocol. The Nets are hardest hit with ten non-operational professionals.
