Natuurpunt has been monitoring how many animals die in traffic in Flanders for fifteen years now. The “Animals under the wheels” project is used to map out in detail where the bottlenecks are, so that the government can tackle them. Natuurpunt is now launching a call to continue reporting sightings of dead animals, so that new measures can be taken to tackle the bottlenecks.
