A natural fire broke out in the Loonse and Drunense Duinen on Sunday morning. The fire was discovered around half past seven.
The Van Loon op Zand and Udenhout fire brigade was called in to fight the fire. It was an area of thirty by forty meters.
‘Naunten takes some time’
The fire was under control around half past eight. The fire brigade announces that re -extinguishing will take some time, because it is still quite dry in the forests.
