NATO has started shipping sea containers to Turkey to provide temporary housing for 4,000 earthquake victims in the Turkish-Syrian border region. A ship with 600 containers departed from the Italian port of Taranto on Sunday evening, the alliance said in a statement. In total, about 1,000 containers go to Turkey, which is a member of NATO.
