The German volleyball women got their sixth victory in the Nations League. Coach Vital Heynen’s team won in Brasilia against South Korea 3:1 (25:19, 25:17, 25:27, 25:12).

The German team has only two defeats after eight games and is now sixth in the table with 16 points. The most successful attacker was Hanna Orthmann with 23 points.

In the games of volleyball Nations League points are awarded for the world rankings, which in the end can be decisive for the Olympic qualification for Paris 2024. South Korea was well behind Germany before the game.

Now against the Dominican Republic

The top 16 teams in the world for men and women play against each other in the Nations League at different venues over six weeks. After twelve games per team, the eight best teams advance to the final round. The next opponent of the DVV-Frauen is the Dominican Republic on June 27th at 8.30 a.m. German time. The game will be played in Suwon, South Korea.
