Status: 06/29/2022 05:10 a.m

The German volleyball players have hardly any chances of entering the final round in the Nations League.

The team of national coach Vital Heynen lost on Tuesday evening (06/28/2022, local time) in Calgary, Canada, against Serbia 1: 3 (25:17, 16:25, 21:25, 18:25). The best German attackers were Hanna Orthmann and Camilla Weitzel, each with a total of 13 points.

The DVV team, which has only won two out of nine games in the Nations League, played without exceptional player Louisa Lippmann, who switched to beach volleyball. Japan is the leader with eight wins in eight games.

In the Nations League, the top 16 teams in the world for men and women play against each other at three venues over six weeks. After twelve games per team, the eight best teams advance to the final round. The games in this competition are important for the world ranking.
