The German footballers secured the group victory in the Nations League early on Friday evening with a 4: 0 (3: 0) success in Bremen against the Netherlands. The team of national coach Christian Wück showed a gala performance five weeks before the beginning of the European Championship in Switzerland.
“Oh, how is it nice, oh, how is it nice,” it echoed through the Weser Stadium before half -time. With the break whistle there was Standing Ovations for the selection of the German Football Association (DFB). The hosts had honestly earned the enthusiasm through a performance that had previously been completely convincing in all areas.
After just 45 minutes, the decision was made by hits from Linda Dallmann (9th), Lea Schüller (25th,) and Sarai Linder (45th). After the change of sides, Schüller increased to 4: 0 (48th) for Germany, which solved the ticket for the final four of the Nations League in autumn.
Tuesday EM general rehearsal in Vienna against Austria
In the last group game next Tuesday (8.30 p.m., live in the ARD) in Vienna against Austria, the DFB team is now only about prestige-and of course a successful EM general sample. Because the duel with the Alpine Republic is the last game before the start of the tournament in Switzerland (July 2 to 27).
DFB team dominant right from the start
In the constitution shown in particular in the first section against the Netherlands, the Wück team is a top title favorite. Germany immediately tore the scepter and initiated one attack after another. After winning the ball, the midfield was quickly bridged and tried to play balls into the back of the “Oranje” defense over the outside. In particular, this was achieved several times on the right side.
The Wolfsburg -based Janina Minge (right) prepared two goals.
Jule Brand was a constant unrest. She prepared the 2: 0 by Schüller with a pass on the long post and also impressively operated his own promotion for an EM master square.
Outstanding Dallmann ensures early leadership
In front of Schüller’s hit, her Munich club mate Dallmann had given the DFB selection. After an initially rejected corner kick, the ball came via detours to the midfielder in the first round. Dallmann then banged a pass from Janina Minge into the gable with a right -hand shot.
Shortly before the break, a Wolfsburg co -production then held the play equipment for Linder, which had free rail and keeper Kop did not leave the game with a placed shot. The guests who, in front of a domestic backdrop in the Nation’s League first leg, had a 2-2 offensive disappointed in the first section across the board.
Dream goal to 4-0 by Schüller
“Oranje” trainer Andries Jonker changed three times to the second section. But the Dutch also showed old weaknesses with the new staff. The 2017 European champion was not given access in midfield and was overwhelmed in the external positions with German high-speed football.
Another as well as beautifully played out was the result. This time Giulia Gwinn, who was staged by Dallmann by hoe, served Schüller with a precise flank, the rest was a matter of form for the attacker.
Germany dominant until the end
Despite the comfortable advantage, the Wück team did not subside. Germany continued to captivate with concentrated defense work and considered, fast -paced attack football. In the last third of the field, however, the record European champion missed the consequence shown above after the 4: 0.
It was only in the final phase that the DFB selection took the foot from the accelerator pedal. This was ultimately without consequences against the entire distance of surprisingly weak Dutch women, although the guests still had chances for the connection goal shortly before Ultimo.
