Herzogenaurach (dpa) – National coach Hansi Flick will change his starting lineup for the Nations League game against England. “There will be one or two changes,” said Flick in Herzogenaurach.
There are “several players who are eligible, we still have a little time”. Marco Reus, who only traveled to the team quarters on June 4 because of an infection, is not yet an option, said Flick, the game came “two or three days too early” for the Dortmund player.
The DFB selection had played 1-1 against Italy at the start of the UEFA competition in Bologna. The game against the Three Lions on June 7 (8:45 p.m. / ZDF) in Munich’s Allianz Arena is now “a really big chunk,” said Flick. “We’re looking forward to this game.”
