Women’s National Handball Team faced Uzbekistan in the semi-final match of Riyadh 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games.
While our national team finished the first half of the match ahead 18-11, they continued their superior play in the second half and won the match 39-22 and advanced to the final.
Having finished as the leader in Group A by making three out of three, the Crescent and Stars team put up a good performance in the semi-finals and got their name into the final. Our nationals’ opponent in the final was Kazakhstan, which defeated Iran 29-26.
The final match between Türkiye and Kazakhstan, where the national team will compete for the gold medal at the Riyadh 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games, will start at 13.30 on Friday, November 21.
