Stars and Youth World Weightlifting Championship ended in Lima, the capital of Peru. Our national athletes won a total of 8 medals including 2 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze at the World Championship. On the last day of the organization, which was realized with the participation of a total of 530 athletes, 265 men and 265 women from 62 countries, our national athlete Fatmagül Çevik, who went to the podium at 87 kilos at the podium at the podium, won a gold medal with a total of 245 pounds and became the world champion and read our National Anthem in Lima. Our national athlete won a silver medal with 110 kilos in the breaking and won the bronze medal with 135 kilos in the silkme competition. Pursaklar Mayor Ertuğrul Çetin presented the medal to our athlete.
